What does being Commited mean?
It means you have made a promise or a pledge to up hold what you have Commited your self too.
Like marriage , now days you don't hear much of anyone being married hardly more than 10 years IF THAT.
I was watching the news one day with my Mother, and on there they announced all these people that have been married 50, 55, 60, 70, and even one of 75yrs!!!!
That is what is known as being Commited to one another, through the Good times and the Bad times, for Better or Worse, through Hard times, Thin times to good times, through Sickness and Health.
Why do people marry now days? Does it have to do with money, lust, credit, looks, brains, or just because of one poor ,stupid reason or another.
Take for instance people that are COMMITED to keeping HEALTHY , by eating right, exercise, and doing the right thing for their bodies, or when you FINALLY land that dream job, you show the rest what you got and what it takes to keep you in the job you were hired for. Thats commitment.
that is what it takes to have a GREAT marriage, is the HARD work, The DETERMINATION, BELIEVING in each other, and Working HARD to keep
that machine called marriage up and running as it should. Marriage is a HIGH Maitenance thing, and it HAS to be kept in fine ,top running condition, because if ONE thing goes wrong and it is n't fixed right away, well it will become a ticking time bomb, and when it does explode it will take down EVERYTHING and EVERYONE in its path.
How do I know all this?????
I was married ONCE too and it ended ugly, left some really nasty scars, and is still on going today, becaue the lies are wanted to be seen as the TRUTH and the truth has benn made to be seen as LIES.
Like many, I and my 4 beautiful children bare these scars. not so much my youngest 3 ,as it does my oldest daughter.
But that part in my life will come out soon one day in this blog as well as in what my oldest sister Connie will write, I have given her my permission to use what I have written about in my past marriage in any way she wants.
