Caught in the middle, What does it mean? Well, it has lot of meaning
behind it.
For me,it means the middle child. I am the middle child of 5 kids, and I do LOVE to blab about them, particularly if its soe thing "juicey" or bad that has happend.
I do make "light" of th fact that I do look at the HUMORUS side of the bloopers and the not so good things about us.
I am one of "those" kids that did get caught in the middle of things i had nothing to do with.
And I always knew who it was that did whatit was I got blamed for, and or who it was that should of done the things they were told to do, but didn't do, I got stuck doing it. But not all the time.
I'm one that likes to sit and watch other people, no matter where I am at the time.
I guess you could say I am or wa the "GOOD KID" of the bunch.
I did and do my bestto stay out and away from rouble, or bad influences, what ever the case may be.
But I'm not innocent , not by far. I'm not evil either, just one of those that takes note of the situation and surroundings and have learnd to plan my "escapes" if need be.
I learned A LOT from my Father while gowing up and I learned a lot from my sibblings too.
Like hen it came time to do dishes(yuk) , I'd sneak out the back door just to have my 2nd to the oldest sister get stuck with them.
The trash, well I'd sneak out that same back door and have my brother that is 3 yrs younger than me(but looks older than me..lol) get stuck with that chore.
Now my oldest sister, Connie, well , now that one is interesting, she was always good at catching me doing some thing wrong or teaching me how to do something "wrong", but ended up with the laughs later.
Connie, she is one of them sister's that was born with an craving for "hobbies and crafts" of any kind.
She loves to write most of all.
But yet she has been many things in her life time, she first learnd to to do her "ABC's" by carving them into a very expensive piece of furnature my parents had bought way back when and long before I was born, so you could say she did wood carving at one time, She was conciderd a cheerleader as wll, until she got in trouble with her teacher in class. she used to think she was a musician at one time, remember the" STRING Guitar", yup she'd tote that thing all over Nome Alaska, wore her hair all frizzed out hoping one day it would be come an afro.
I know she will tell things on me, but who cares it happendi the past.
I remember her VERY first car, it was cool, I liked it, but our dad has his doubts about her being a good car owner.
he was right, back then any way, she killed the cool car one day, didn't think about putting oil in it and blew the engine on the hywy between Branson , Mo and Point Lookput,Mo near what was back then called School of the Ozarks.
She called dad, he went and got her and laughed at her the whole time home, she was mad, but go over it in the end....lol
Connie , she is headstrong, spoiled, grouchy, kind of snotty, but most of all, she is MAJOR fun to be with and around.
But I was the one that was kept home for the most part, Connie had been a "free spirit" ,Karen trying to follow Connie's foot steps, Danny , he was too young to know, Mike he was on his own path.
But being the middle child you miss out on alot or you learn a lot.
Like pay back to little brothers that hide from dad when he is grumpy and them not around to get into trouble, but only you...lol
but I have much to tell and much on my mind, and for now I'll stop here.
The story of the peanut butter, and the flying belt buckle , and the asking the lady to help because of being an ape will have to wait for another time.
Its late and my eyes are telling me they want to rest.
Some thing to Keep in mind, some times YOU HAVE TO G BACK , IN ORDER TO GO FORWARD.
